Our recruitment project seemed overwhelming .
Without a digital tool to make it easy and quick to post job vacancies and the ability to manage several hundred applications per month en masse (receiving, processing and responding), our recruitment project seemed overwhelming. On a more serious note, our HR department didn’t manage to convey our corporate values: respect for people, professionalism, integrity and fairness.

Talentfinder is the recruitment management tool offered by Profile Group.  
When we publish a job vacancy, it appears directly on our local authority’s website as well as on our partners’ websites. But we can make changes quickly and easily.  
Candidates manage their own profile and responses are sent to them automatically.  
Lastly, Talentfinder has a chat tool that means we can contact their support at any time. They are really responsive and answer questions or make any changes that might be necessary.

Talentfinder is efficient, modular and easy to use for everyone!  

Talentfinder is all about efficiency! It is a fully modular tool and most importantly, it’s a pleasure to use for everyone involved. It makes the process more efficient, but also means that we can manage a large number of applications in just a few clicks. Lastly, the tool also means that we can generate statistics so we can get an overview of our recruitment situation. 

What was the challenge you had when you met us?
We wanted to be more responsive in the way we get back to candidates. We also wanted to have an electronic database of all the applications we had received so that we could systematically access it when we needed to fill new positions. Lastly, we wanted to cut down on paperwork.

An intuitive, comprehensive solution that helps us to be more responsive and professional in the way we monitor and manage the applications we receive.

 What was the challenge you had when you met us?
Our challenge was to create and maintain an electronic database of candidates for local authority jobs with search keys, and then to create an approval process with our sector and operational managers outside HR.   

Could you explain the proposed solution?
Thanks to its Talentfinder tool, Profile Group helped us build up a database of candidates and carry out regular searches for profiles according to targeted needs. It also means that we can carry out an internal search using this database before possibly launching an external search and so reduce certain costs. We can also generate reports using the tool so there is more transparency for decision makers when it comes to the recruitment process.

It makes it faster and easier to search for candidates.  

As well as this, communication with the candidate is integrated in the tool and an approval process involving the line managers also means that the monitoring process is well integrated, and we can track the history, as well as allow different people to consult information related to the candidates (recruitment tests etc.).

The City of Brussels is the largest commune in the Brussels region both in terms of size and number of inhabitants. It is also one of the largest employers in the region with its 3900 employees. Beyond the pure administrative aspects, the mission of these employees is to offer a large range of services contributing to a pleasant living environment for its inhabitants. In addition to the services related to civil status and the population register, the City of Brussels also offers cultural, educational and early childhood care services, while ensuring urban and commercial development on its territory.  

Each year more than 300 jobs for very diverse functions are filled by external recruitment. The job offers published by the City of Brussels are as rich as they are varied: engineers, skilled workers, lawyers, administrative roles and childcare workers.  

Talentfinder, Profile Group’s recruitment ATS, manages more than 10.000 candidates each year .
The City of Brussels is collaborating with Profile Group since 2014. This collaboration and the use of the Talentfinder ATS has enabled us to increase our visibility as an employer but has also helped the diffusion of our job ads with our partners as well as on the jobboards. The St Gillis commune needed to improve its recruitment processes to make them more professional and less time consuming. The follow up of both the job offers and the applications was done without any digital tool, which was increasing the risks of mistakes and was preventing the team from doing this follow up in a smooth, efficient and fast way.
